This is one of the toughest entrance exam in India and the World. This is also exam which is Witten by highest number of student first see can admission in IIMs in India. This is common admission test commonly known as CAT.

CAT Entrance exam started in the year 1950 and it is Mint for admission in a prestigious management institute of Indian college commonly known as IIM.

CAT exam score is being used by more than 100 Institutes for Admission..

Commonly admission Test exam is popularly known as the National Level Management Entrance exam conducted by IIMS for admission to management programs. It is conducted once a year.

Eligibility to give CAT EXAM—

  1.  As per the eligibility country, year IN any graduate who holds 50 percent in Graduation and somebody who is in final year can give CAT EXAM.
  2. Basic Eligibility is 50 percent in Graduation for general or OBC and 45 percent for SC/ST  or disabled category candidate
  3. There is no  age criteria in CAT exam that means anyone who holds a bachelor degree in any stream can give this exam respective of their exam

Exam format –

this exam is divided in three part or three section which is-

1-Quantitative Ability

2-Logical Reasoning &data Interpretation

3-Verbal Ability &Reading comprehension

as per the latest pattern of CAT this exam is of total of 100 question

Scoring of this exam is big difference of other exam .there are two score involves in this

First Raw score which is your original score and second one is percentile scale .

So Percentile scale score is created and this is on the basis of highest score achiever. What will known as 100 Percentile so somebody who scored maximum would be called 100 percentile  and with comparison  to that highest score and other score will be on that scale

A few question in each section of CAT may be of non-MCQs type question

Each question carries 3 marks and there is no negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

Overall it’s a three –hour online exam divided into one hour each section.

CAT exam generally happen on November and December every year . the exam notification IS Out in the month of  August and you can fill the form up till September .Admit card are Available to download in the  month of October .and  exam will be happening in the month of November or December.

So every year near about 2 lac student write CAT exam which make them eligible for Admission in IIMs  as well as other management colleges across in India.
